Bonjour, I'm Eryn

Not long ago, I came to Provence the way most people do — on holiday. Seeking markets and sunshine and little hilltop villages to wander. But somewhere between the lavender fields and the stone villages, between the long meals and the golden light, I realized I wasn’t visiting. I was arriving.
That first trip reshaped the trajectory of my life. I returned to California carrying something I couldn’t quite name — a feeling of deep connection to a place, a sense of stillness and presence that lingered long after I had left. I knew I wanted a chapter of my life to unfold in Provence.
Chasing Provence was born from that longing. It was shaped through years of travel and friendships, both in community and place. Provence had welcomed me so many years ago.
Chasing Provence is not simply a list of destinations, but an invitation — to slow down, to gather, and to notice beauty both in the places we visit and the people we meet. Provence has a way of shaping you, I welcome you to write a piece of your own story here and the many places we visit.
Before this, I spent years working in interior design and architecture, in project management and event planning — often serving as an unofficial travel planner for friends and family along the way. Those experiences, both professional and personal, taught me the art of bringing people together and creating spaces that feel both intentional and effortless — what I like to call emotional architecture. Those skills eventually found their true home here, in the sun drenched hills of southern France.
Every retreat I host is deeply personal. I choose the villages, the homes, the menus, and the walks not from a catalog, but from my own love of this place. When you join a Chasing Provence retreat — whether here in Provence or at another carefully chosen destination — you’re stepping into a world I care deeply about. Every vendor, grower, and chef is part of a community we’ve built together, and together we create something beautiful.
I would love to share it with you.
